The owner of BD knew exactly what he wanted.  We were honored to collaborate with him in the development of this fine boat.  She was built at Treworgy Yachts in Palm Coast Florida. Treworgy Yachts, a fine boat yard for decades has since closed its doors with the owners themselves going off to new adventures

Among Black Douglas's major features was the large Winninghoff fishing boat she carried on the aft deck and her distinctive stack system. Numerous excursions south of the equator have been part of her travels.  Her pirate namesake would be envious.
